Reliable batteries for your car
Have you noticed that everyone is panic buying batteries? Back in March, the focus was on tissue paper but now reliable batteries are in fashion. But do you need to buy 3 batteries for your car?
Every Thanksgiving day, I think it is in November, I see my local food store doing a foods drive for the poor so that they can have a turkey and mashed potatoes and pudding for that particular day. I have never gone to pick up the turkey since I don’t like turkey but I have been tempted to pick up bottled water.
Today I went to the store and found bottled water was on sale. Normally we buy 32 bottles at $3. Today the 32 bottles were on sale at a dollar but you had to buy 5 packs. My greedy cheap self bought 10 packs at $10 thereby saving a whooping $20. After I struggled and loaded the car, it refused to start. Then I had to stand in the hot sun waiting with the heavy load of water, till my son came to rescue me. I think I may have broken the car. I then had to borrow his car which is a stick shift…
I had forgotten how stick shifts are so hard to drive. It requires a special skill set to coordinate the legs and hands as one grows older. It is a lot of work… Actually now that I think about it, this is why I am celibate. It is a lot of work coordinating four legs, wait 4 or 5? Four arms four lips… Even thinking of it is tiring me… I have to drive home in a few minutes after this 8 hour shift… Yes I am tired… And my car is still at home broken by the heavy cheap water that I purchased which should last us all summer…
Still I need to find one good battery so let’s hop on over to Amazon and test batteries.
